Xpressbees today announced the opening up of its same-day and next-day delivery platform to D2C brands.
The platform has over the years exclusively served some of the biggest e-commerce companies in the country and comprises a network of 50+ warehouses. It enables same-day delivery service across 51 cities, covering 1600+ pin codes and next-day regional delivery service across 1000+ towns and cities covering 8200+ pin codes.
The platform is powered by Xpressbees’ proprietary WMS and OMS and is integrated with all the leading marketplaces. It enables a brand to service orders from its own website, orders from marketplaces, and any B2B orders received from its offline franchisees or B2B distributors from the same stock pool. It also has a built-in auto-replenishment model which ensures optimum inventory level in such an extended network based on the sell-through rate of various SKUs. The orders received from customers are assigned to the nearest warehouse based on availability, speed of delivery and logistics cost to be incurred by the brand.
Amitava Saha, Founder, Xpressbees said, “This is a natural extension of our existing capabilities to newer markets. Our platform is time-tested and robust with a throughput of millions of orders every month. We believe this will open opportunities for established brands looking to expand their online presence and upcoming D2C brands trying to grow their customer base. The platform will help them increase delivery speed significantly while keeping the costs low.”
Founded in 2015, Xpressbees is currently present across 3000+ towns and cities, serving over 20,000 pin codes, and delivers over 1.5 million packages per day.
The company now has over 100 hubs across India, over 3 million sq ft plus warehouse capacity, and operates across 52 airports in the country. Xpressbees’ tech-empowered solutions offer customised logistics services ranging from collection and storage of goods to transportation and door-step delivery.
