Borzo to relocate headquarters from Amsterdam to Mumbai

Borzo, previously known as WeFast, a global intracity same-day delivery service, has announced the relocation of its headquarters from Amsterdam to Mumbai. This strategic move underscores the growing significance of the Indian market in Borzo’s business strategy, as highlighted in an official release.

Alina Kisina, CEO of Borzo, announced the headquarters shift at Borzo Connect, an event held in Mumbai focused on the challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). “The decision to shift the Borzo HQ to India reaffirms our focus on capturing the India opportunity and expanding our client base and business,” Kisina stated. She emphasised Borzo’s aim to scale up operations, leverage exceptional talent within the company, and expand Borzo Centres in India, recognising their value to global operations. The company is committed to investing in high-quality talent and enhancing infrastructure to improve capabilities.

Eugene Panfilov, Managing Director of Borzo India, highlighted the significance of this relocation as a milestone in the company’s journey. He noted, “Borzo’s headquarters relocation to Mumbai underscores our commitment to capitalising on the immense potential of the Indian market and reinforcing our position as a key player in the delivery services industry. Borzo’s India business has grown multifold in the last seven years, positioning us as one of the strongest players in the SMB segment.
