Thai express cargo airline K-Mile Asia has announced the addition of its first B767-300BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter), marking a significant expansion of its fleet and operations. The aircraft, registered as HS-KSA, is Thailand’s first widebody freighter and will position K-Mile as the first operator of the B767-300BCF in the country. The freighter arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) on September 6, 2024, and is expected to enter service in October, linking Thailand with key markets in Southeast Asia, China, and India.
The B767-300BCF offers a versatile solution for K-Mile’s operations, capable of long-haul, regional, and feeder market services. It can carry up to 51.7 tonnes (115,808 pounds) of cargo, with significant capacity on both its main deck and lower hold. This aircraft will complement K-Mile’s existing fleet of five B737 freighters, enhancing its ability to provide cost-efficient options for air cargo customers in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian market.

Currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, K-Mile operates regular services for DHL and offers bespoke charter cargo flights from Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, and Phnom Penh. As a joint venture of ASL Aviation Holdings, which operates a global fleet of 150 aircraft, K-Mile continues to expand its role in the express cargo sector, serving major clients such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Amazon.
