TVS SCS secures 5-Year contract with Daimler Truck South East Asia

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) has announced a new five-year contract with Daimler Truck South East Asia, a Daimler Truck AG company, to provide Integrated Supply Chain Solutions (ISCS) services in Singapore. This agreement cements TVS SCS as a primary logistics partner for Daimler Truck AG, facilitating logistics services between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region.

Daimler Truck South East Asia conducted a comprehensive evaluation process before selecting TVS SCS for this critical role, according to an official release from TVS SCS.

The partnership between TVS SCS and Daimler Truck South East Asia will focus on establishing a logistics solution for distributing spare parts and related items. This will streamline supply chain operations for Daimler’s distributor network, dealers, and workshops across 16 Asia-Pacific countries from a logistics center in Singapore. The collaboration will manage 8,000 SKUs and 65,000 order lines annually, catering to diverse storage needs and ensuring seamless transportation via air, Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and road, along with customs clearance and Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations, the release added.
