Hong Kong Air Cargo, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Airlines, has committed to a suite of advanced solutions from NAVBLUE to boost its flight operations. The suite, which includes five new solutions in addition to the previously selected N-Ops & Crew (N-OC), aims to significantly improve operational efficiency through seamless digital integration.
The newly acquired tools include N-Flight Planning, which will optimise flight operations by rapidly computing flight plans and minimising flight time, fuel consumption, and overall costs. N-Tracking provides real-time aircraft position reports and alerts, enhancing operational situational awareness. Navigation+ offers comprehensive aeronautical navigation information, including en route, airport, and procedural data.
Mission+, NAVBLUE’s Electronic Flight Assistant, consolidates essential pilot information into a single application. This integration reduces pilot workload by streamlining data flow between ground and onboard systems, and includes features such as mission management data, cockpit checklists, navigation charts, and real-time weather conditions.
Mission+ FLIGHT, an extension of Mission+, further optimizes pilots’ journey from preparation to flight closure by reducing manual entries and associated errors. Mission+ MAPS, the charting module of Mission+, provides all necessary aeronautical data for en-route and terminal charts.
Marc Lemeilleur, CEO of NAVBLUE, expressed pride in supporting Hong Kong Air Cargo with these solutions, emphasizing their potential to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Capt. Yang Yang, Vice President of Operations at Hong Kong Air Cargo, highlighted the benefits of integration and automation in reducing manual work and improving operational safety and efficiency.
