DHL Express India recognised as Top Employer for sixth consecutive year

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has been recognised as 2021 Top Employer in India for the sixth consecutive year. The certification further strengthens DHL Express’ goal to be the employer of choice, through its people-centric culture.

The company has also won the accolade in Asia Pacific region for the seventh consecutive year. Apart from India, DHL Express has been awarded with Top Employer in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. This brings the total number of awards that DHL Express has won in the area of workplace excellence to 42 in 2020.

DHL Express annually invests a double digit million Euro amount in its employees around the world. The company runs various HR initiatives to continuously improve the working conditions of its teams and equip its international workforce with the knowledge that they need to be motivated to deliver the best quality service for customers each day.

The Top Employers Institute, a global organisation that recognises excellence in employee conditions, particularly acknowledged DHL’s strong performance in the areas of Values, Business Strategy, and Ethics and Integrity.

DHL Express continues to invest in leadership development and talent growth programs, including running the Certified International Specialist (CIS) and Certified International Manager (CIM) over the last 10 years. CIS and CIM are a series of training sessions meant to create a powerful sense of community that enables employees to combine best-in-class product knowledge with incomparable service excellence.

The Top Employers Institute program certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers 6 HR domains consisting of 20 topics such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion and more.

This award focuses on human resources and people management practices at a granular level – be it talent acquisition, training or culture. As part of the application process, DHL Express outlined its India programs as well global and regional initiatives implemented in the country.
