Leveraging BuyCo’s extensive ocean carrier network, Honda can access comprehensive shipping schedules and select optimal options based on criteria such as CO2 emissions, cost, ETA, and allocations. This integration allows Honda to save time on bookings, improve processes, optimise inventory, and reduce costs. By monitoring CO2 emissions, Honda reduces its carbon footprint, while detention and demurrage tracking minimise costs through timely alerts.
Simultaneously, FourKites provides Honda with superior visibility and container tracking solutions. With access to major ocean carriers, real-time AIS data, terminal insights, and dray carriers’ integration, Honda gains reliable oversight of both land and ocean transportation. This enables the company to monitor its containers closely and respond proactively to any disruptions.
