DP World has inaugurated its cutting-edge warehousing facility in Loutolim, Goa, marking a significant milestone in its operations. Spanning 27,512 square feet, the Grade-A facility boasts three operational docks and 2,620 pallet positions, specialising in the storage and handling of chemical products. Situated strategically just 31 kilometers from the Mormugaon Port, 23 kilometers from the Dabolim airport, and 25 kilometers from Panjim city, the facility offers unparalleled connectivity to key transportation hubs.
This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced warehouse management systems, positioning it as a pivotal hub facilitating trade growth at both local and national levels. Anoop Chauhan, Head of Contract Logistics & Cold Chain Solutions at DP World Subcontinent, emphasised the facility’s role in providing customers with access to multiple markets across the country.
With seamless connectivity to the Goa-Bangalore-Pune highway, the facility is set to become a cornerstone for the storage and handling of chemicals and healthcare cargo. DP World’s extensive warehousing network in India now exceeds 5 million square feet, strategically distributed across more than 60 locations. The new warehouse not only enhances DP World’s footprint in India but also caters to the specific needs of chemical goods traders in Goa, offering customisable storage solutions and more.
