Lufthansa Cargo has announced that Elodie Berthonneau will take over as Vice President Asia-Pacific effective 1 October 2024, based in Singapore. Berthonneau will lead the sales and handling operations in key markets, including China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Oceania. She joins Lufthansa Cargo from Qatar Cargo, where she served as Vice President of Network Planning and Strategic Partnerships.
With over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, Berthonneau has held various leadership roles in sales, pricing, profit management, and strategic planning at Qatar Airways and Air France KLM. Her extensive background includes building start-ups, restructuring organisations, network redesign, and managing major strategic partnerships. Berthonneau’s international experience spans Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, making her well-suited to drive growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
